These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of saltyhero.com.au and any purchase of products from Salty Hero (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Salty Hero is an Australian business operating from the Gold Coast, Queensland, selling marine care products direct to consumers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Products and Pricing

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change without notice. The price confirmed at checkout applies to that order.
  • Product images are representative. Minor variations in colour or appearance may occur.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion.

4. Orders and Payment

  • An order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order by email and dispatch your goods.
  • Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
  • We may cancel any order due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. A full refund will be issued in such cases.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship within Australia. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • We are not responsible for carrier delays or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Australian Consumer Law — Your Statutory Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL.

7. Returns and Refunds

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund consistent with your ACL rights. Please contact us at customerservice@jpihq.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened or used products. For unopened products in original condition, contact us within 14 days of delivery.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, product descriptions and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Salty Hero and protected by Australian and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use our content without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from use of our website or products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. This does not apply where inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
