The full post-sesh routine.
Salt starts attacking your ride the minute you pull it off the water. The fix is simple: flush the engine, wash it off, protect the hardware, finish with a ceramic polish. Every time. No exceptions. Here's how we do it:
How to video:
Step 1
FLUSH SALT OUT OF THE ENGINE.
What you need: Salty Hero Engine Flush, flush canister and fresh water supply.
- Connect flush adapter to hose, ready to connect to your engine.
- Pour 50-100ml of Engine Flush solution into flush applicator.
- Plug in gardern hose and flushing applicator to your vessel's flushing point. Run and flush engine for 5–10 minutes.
- Repeat flushing process with garden hose only, flushing any excess engine flush solution through.
Do this after every saltwater sesh.

Step 2
Clean and Protect
What you need: Salty Hero Salt Wash, bucket, foam gun and noodle mitt.
- Add 50ml of Salt Wash to your snow foam gun and fill the rest with water.
- Conect to your hose and evenly foam over your PWC or vessel.
- Allow foam to sit for 30 seconds to break down and dissolve salt build-up.
- Hose or pressure wash thoroughly with fresh water.
- Use a Salty Hero microfibre drying towel for a streak free finish.
- Use after each ride for the best protection.
Tip: do this before the engine flush while the hose is out.

Step 3
Protect. Lock out corrosion before it starts.
What you need: Salty Hero Anti-Corrosive Spray.
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- Shake the bottle well.
- Apply an even coat over metal surfaces, electrical components, and exposed fittings.
- Allow to dry. Reapply regularly for ongoing protection, especially after use in saltwater.
Safe on electrical. Displaces moisture on contact. Use it anywhere salt gets in and rust starts.

Step 4
Finish. Ceramic shine. Mint ride.
What you need: Salty Hero Spray & Polish, microfibre cloth.
- Ensure your PWC or vessel is freshly washed and dry.
- Lightly mist Spray and Polish onto external surfaces.
- Use a clean Salty Hero microfibre cloth to spread evenly.
- Flip cloth and buff to a high-gloss shine.
- Reapply regularly to maintain shine and UV protection.
Ceramic-infused. Hydrophobic. UV-protective. Reapply regularly.

Straight answers
The questions we get most.
How often should I flush the engine? Every saltwater sesh. No exceptions. It's the single highest-value habit in this list.
Can I use Salt Wash on decals and vinyl? Yes. It's pH-neutral and specifically formulated not to strip wax, fade vinyl, or attack decals.
Does the Anti-Corrosive Spray hurt electrical? No — it displaces moisture and is safe on wiring, terminals and connectors. That's what it's built for.
How long does the Spray & Polish last? Weeks per application, through multiple washes. Reapply every few sessions.
Is any of it toxic? Biodegradable where possible. Low-toxicity formulation. Marine-safe — formulated for the waterways you ride on.
Where is it made? Formulated, manufactured and shipped from Australia. Carries the Australian Made trademark.
